Training Resources

State community action associations are the primary source for meeting local community action agencies’ training needs. National partners such as the National Community Action Partnership, NASCSP, CAPLAW, National Community Action Foundation and others also offer training in support of community action and its programs. Please see the Links page to access state associations and national partners.

The National Community Action Partnership operates the National Training Center, a web-based resource for the network that includes a calendar of scheduled events, a consultant bank, a resource bank and discussion forums.

Annual Regional Conference

Region VI Community Action sponsors an annual regional conference with training sessions each fall. Surveys are circulated periodically requesting input on training to be offered on a regional level.
